ForkYeah! Privacy Policy

ForkYeah! is a recipe discovery app for Android. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use ForkYeah! package com.corryholt.forkyeah.

Information You Provide

ForkYeah! does not require you to create an account. The app may store information you choose to save inside the app, including saved recipes, swipe history, shopping list items, pantry items, allergen selections, excluded ingredients, mood filters, and basic app preferences. This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export it.

Recipe Data And Network Requests

ForkYeah! loads recipe and drink data from provider APIs such as TheMealDB, Forkify, and TheCocktailDB. When the app requests recipes, those providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, device network details, and request metadata. ForkYeah! does not scrape recipe websites.

Advertising

ForkYeah! may show sponsored cards using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use device identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and other information to provide, measure, and improve ads. Purchases

ForkYeah! may offer an ad-free subscription through Google Play Billing. Purchases are handled by Google Play. ForkYeah! does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Sharing And Exporting

The app lets you share recipe details and export or share shopping lists as plain text or CSV. Sharing happens only when you choose to use Android's share sheet or another export action. The information you share may be handled by the app or service you select.

Data Retention And Deletion

Locally saved app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall ForkYeah!. Recipe provider data may also be subject to the providers' own retention practices.

Children's Privacy

ForkYeah! is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the issue.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as ForkYeah! changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
